Dr. Mallika Banerjee

Biographical Info Prof. Mallika Banerjee, Professor & Dean, Techno India University and Retired Professor of University of Calcutta, a dedicated Professional and research worker in the field of Disability, particularly on Autism. Some of her contributions in the field of Disability are listed below: 1) Founder of Pradip: Centre for Autism Management – the first recognized center in West Bengal for the persons with Autism. 2) The first Indian Diagnostic and Assessment tool of Autism (ADCL), constructed by her has been published in March 2007 and available to purchase with detail Manual in two versions, viz., Bengali & English. 3) Developed a software on ‘Theory of Mind’ phenomenon for training of persons with Autism. 4) Acted as Key-Note Speaker (Invited) in European Congress on Autism held in Croatia, Jagreb, 2019, March, sponsored by Govt. of West Bengal. 5) Published more than 70 papers ( Scientific journals) and 3 books and 8 book chapters. Special Award: State Awardee (Ministry of Women Development & Social Welfare, Child Development, Health and Family Welfare), 2013 and 2019, for Best Applied Research in the field of Disability. Sister Nivedita Humanitarian award, 2024, World Womens’ Day, by Institute of Engineering and Management, University of Engineering and Management.
