Trauma Psychology

The Trauma Psychology division is established to come up with research to ensure that all treatments are based on evidence and consistent with the most up-to-date understanding of trauma treatment. The division is also responsible to provide explicit training, supervision, and clinical experience working directly, and perhaps almost exclusively, with trauma.

Eligibility Criteria for Trauma Psychology Division –

a)The individual must have at least 10 -20 years of experience in this field.
b)The individual must hold a PhD degree or equivalent.
c) He/she must have published significant, peer-reviewed research beyond the doctoral dissertation.
d) He/she should be actively involved in independent scientific research in psychology or allied sciences.
e) He/she must accrue supervised hours, ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 hours, depending on the state.
f) He/she must pass the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) along with the jurisprudence exam, if applicable.
