Rehabilitation Psychology

The Rehabilitation Psychology division is built to promote advocacy with individuals with disabilities to eliminate attitudinal, policy, and physical barriers along with emphasizing employment, environmental access, social role, and community integration. The division will also provide services within existing networks of biological, psychological, social, environmental, and political environments and also to market resources, research, education, and training.

Eligibility Criteria for Rehabilitation Psychology Division –

a)The individual must have at least 10 -20 years of experience in this field.

b)The individual must hold a PhD degree or equivalent.

c) Have published significant, peer-reviewed research beyond the doctoral dissertation.

d) Be actively involved in independent scientific research in psychology or allied sciences.

e) Should accrue supervised hours, ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 hours, depending on the state.

f) Should pass the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP). Pass a jurisprudence exam, if applicable.

g) Should be certified by the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychology

h) Should have a license from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
