Clinical Neuropsychology

The Clinical Neuropsychology division is established to foster research, education, resources, and training to understand brain structure, function, and dysfunction. It is also built to understand the effects of multiple factors on the cognitive, behavioural, and emotional front along with relationships between the brain and human behaviour.

Eligibility Criteria for Clinical Neuropsychology Division –


a)The individual must have at least 10 -20 years of experience in this field.

b)The individual must hold a Ph.D. degree or equivalent.

c) Have published significant, peer-reviewed research beyond the doctoral dissertation

d) Be actively involved in independent scientific research in psychology or allied sciences

e) Should accrue supervised hours, ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 hours, depending on the state

f) Pass the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP) Pass a jurisprudence exam, if applicable

g) Must seek voluntary certification through the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology

h) To become a registered clinical psychologist in India you need to take a license from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)

i) Must have a generic psychology license
